 We discovered Windward Pet Lovers soon after moving to Hawaii from Maryland with our dogs, a Jack Russell Terrier (Roby) and a retired racing Greyhound (Artemis). We use Windward Pet Lovers each and every time we go off island, whether it's just for the weekend or for a visit to the families on the mainland. Roby and Artemis love visits from Yvonne and Ruth, and it's no wonder. They both took the time to find out what each of our dogs enjoys, which is essential in having a strong relationship with them. My husband and I both spent years as marine mammal trainers, so we wouldn't accept anything less! Yvonne and Ruth are professionals in their business, with excellent communication (you will know everything your pet did while you were away!), and very loving hearts. We highly recommend them.

Lt. Col. Coulter was deployed in 2006 and is now living with Ranger in the mainland. His job required that he travel frequently, and a few of his trips were especially long. He always had us come in twice a day for Ranger , and we became very attached to him during these trips. We love him and miss him, and he will always be in our hearts.

I was ecstatic with Windward Pet Lovers. Yvonne & Ruth treated Ranger, my Golden Retriever, like he was their dog. I’m in the military and had several long trips, and when I came home from those long trips Ranger was always happy and well looked after. I could tell that he had been walked and given plenty of attention. I also felt secure that my home was looked after and would be taken care of if there had been any problems.
